In Celebration of World Rhino Day (22 September), we are launching our Chipembere Coffee Photo Contest!

Raise your mug and help us raise some awareness of the plight of our iconic African ‘Unicorns’!

A precious natural heritage and a valuable national resource, rhinos belong to all of us, and all of us – collectively – are the custodians of our rhino. Sadly, our rhinos are being massacred to the point of extinction. As part of our commitment to protect and preserve our rhino, we have crafted an All-African coffee blend, in the hope that our children and their children will be able to enjoy the magnificent sight of a rhino roaming wild.

The Chipembere (Shona word for Rhino) Blend is #roastedforacause, with every 250g bag purchased a portion of sales is donated to rhino conservation through the Chipembere Rhino Foundation.

CRF is a #NPO devoted to the safeguarding of rhinos through effective monitoring technology, specially trained 🐶 K9 units, and vital anti-poaching equipment to protect what we like to call Africa's Unicorns 🦄

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Purchase a bag of Mastertons Chipembere from our roastery, online store or select retailers near you including Checkers, Spar, PnP, Kloppers, and Food Lovers.
2. Make yourself a cup of All-African, medium to dark roast coffee and enjoy.
3. Share your Chipembere Coffee moment using a photo (or video) including #roastedforacause on Facebook and Instagram.

• The competition closes on 31 October 2023.
• To qualify you need to take a photo (or video) of your Chipembere Coffee moment and post it on Facebook or Instagram using #roastedforacause

• Posts need to be visible to the public, each post equals one contest entry

• The winner will be selected randomly and notified on the platform they entered.
•   All participants are eligible in the draw for a Mastertons Chipembere T-Shirt, Mastertons Trucker Cap, two Chipembere Coffee Blends, and a one-cup coffee brewer to the value of R759.90!
•   We will share entry photos on a photo album on our Facebook Page (@mastertonscoffee).
•   Competition is only open to South African residents. Employees of Mastertons Coffee are not eligible to enter.
